Our Building Inspection & Assessment Process
At Omega Air, our basic building inspection and assessment process is designed to provide you with a clear and comprehensive understanding of your property's current condition. We follow a methodical approach to ensure every critical area is thoroughly evaluated, giving you the insights needed to protect your investment and ensure a safe environment.
Step 1
Initial Client Consultation
We begin by discussing your specific concerns, the history of the property, and any areas you'd like us to pay particular attention to during the inspection. This helps us tailor our approach to your unique needs.

Step 2
Exterior Examination
Our inspectors conduct a detailed walk-around of the building's exterior, evaluating the foundation, grading, drainage, roof, gutters, siding, windows, doors, and any attached structures like decks or garages. We look for signs of wear, damage, or potential water intrusion points.

Step 3
Interior Evaluation
We move inside to assess the visible structural elements, walls, ceilings, floors, and general condition of each room. This includes checking for signs of moisture, cracks, uneven surfaces, and proper functionality of readily accessible components.

Step 4
Major Systems Overview
Our assessment includes a visual inspection of the accessible components of major systems such as the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical panel, and plumbing fixtures, looking for obvious defects or signs of malfunction.
Please note: This is a visual assessment for general condition and not a full system performance test.

Step 5
Moisture & Environmental Scan
We utilize basic moisture meters to check for elevated moisture levels in common problem areas. We also visually inspect for any obvious signs of mold growth or other environmental concerns.

Step 6
Summary of Findings
Upon completion of the physical inspection, our inspector will provide you with a preliminary verbal summary of key findings, highlighting any significant issues or areas of concern discovered during the assessment.

Report
Detailed Report Delivery
Within a specified timeframe, you will receive a comprehensive written report. This report will clearly document all findings, including photographic evidence, and offer recommendations for any necessary repairs, further specialized evaluations, or general maintenance.
